Without a doubt a unique location BUT it's delicious. Great,, down-to-earth burger with a whopping side of fries or tots. Both choices are delicious. The daily special on the day I went was a BLT. No less than six massive strips of perfectly cooked, crisp bacon, shredded lettuce and a tomato that tasted home-grown. Sometimes with a BLT, the cook puts on too much mayo. Not here. The perfect amount so it didn't overpower the other ingredients. My Dad and brother had burgers (again, served with small mountain of fries) and each burger was assembled with care and was delicious, not dry or burnt beyond recognition. The Nook will now be a stop as I drive through Pocatello, it is that good.

Excellent burgers. Fries were slightly overcooked. I recommend tater tots because they were perfectly cooked, which gave them a nice crispy exterior. Overall, the taste of the burger is the best I have had in any Pocatello restaurant.

Not sure how I haven’t tried this place before, but they are easily contenders for best burger in town. I had a normal cheeseburger and it was amazing. You can tell it’s made fresh and with care. The host/cashier was so nice and accommodating. I will 100% be back to try more on the menu!

We went there for a casual burger today. Wow, we were blown away. The burgers are spectacular. The fries are out of sight. And, the people there are just incredible. I would definitely suggest going in for a delightful treat.

Update: We tried the burgers and let me tell you, that was the best burgers we have had in over 20 years! I had the Mushroom Swiss and the only better one I have had was in Wisconsin but that is cheese country and had to top. They used fresh mushrooms instead of canned an it was on point. My husband had the Pastrami Burger, he added Jalapeños and mushrooms. They used quality thick sliced pastrami and he was in heaven. He said he will compare all Pastrami burgers to UT from now on. Definitely is our burger place from now on! The best fish and chips we have had in a long time. Super fresh and the portion was huge. You get five., yes five. Delicious pieces. The coating ratio was spot on and the fries were delicious! Definitely, the spot to go. We will update you as soon as we try the burgers!

We’ve been here twice now and can say without a doubt this is the best burger I’ve had in east Idaho hands down. Each time we were taken care of with some of the best service we’ve experienced. Great price, great food, great people. Reminds of a spot in Nashville without the expense and pretense. Come check them out and be as impressed as we were.

The Nook is such a cool hidden spot in Pocatello! It’s inside an old train depot, which gives it a really fun vibe. The burgers were super yummy, and the service felt really personal—like they genuinely care about each guest. It wasn’t too busy when we went, so it was nice and relaxed. Heads up: there’s no sign outside, which can feel a little confusing at first. Just trust Google Maps, walk into the building, and you’ll find it right there. Totally worth the stop!
